These days cards are becoming more and more intellectual and are able to contain multiple applications stored on one card which gives the user of the card, for example, access to a building or allows him to pay.

Card Exchange® offers powerful functionality for encoding cards. This functionality allows you to create a read definition and a write definition and process them at the same time. In combination with our external functions the possibilities are unlimited.

For example, you create a read definition that reads the MIFARE chip serial number then the external functions calculates, based on the chip serial number, the new data and the write definition writes the this new data to the MIFARE chip. The MIFARE functionality is available trough our fully integrated Mifare Exchange® SDK which is available through our contactless encoding module.

It offers a straightforward wizard to define precisely how data is to be written to the MIFARE chip and how sectors are to be protected with keys. It supports MIFARE 1K and 4K as well as the MIFARE Application Directory (MAD). All settings are stored in a portable, encrypted MIFARE-definition file that can be reused for as many cards as you want.

New in this module is the support of MIFARE DESFire encoding. Configure your application and files in a easy way with respect to security of your data... The contactless encoding module offers unlimited functionality and flexibility to program your contactless cards in-line with you print process and it allows you to encode manually your cards through an external desktop reader.
