Multi card 2006 is CIM's response to the ever increasing demand for sophisticated software for card production through intelligent and safe data management and high level professional graphic elaboration.

Intelligent and flexible system allowing management of different internal record variables, such as: date, time, magnetic track contents and barcode. Thanks to the OLE DB, ODBC and COM technology, easy access to all the information can be made from any existing data base and from Access, Excel and DBF programs. The field engine also permits different field variables to be combined in the same record and for fixed text to be added. Partial extraction from each field is also possible. It is possible to memorize and control the record information concerning the production of cards, like date, time, identification, duplication of cards.

It is able to import information through the use of Bar Code readers, Encoders, Chip and Contactless readers and the identification of the OCR characters through camera, then it structures them through direct field access.

It is possible to produce complex graphic effects such as superimposition and gradients, quickly and easily. In addition, the actual design is displayed on the screen. Thus, what appears on the screen is the finished product.

It is an application for 32 bit Windows operating systems: thanks to the multithreaded programming technology it is stable and safe. It is written in C++, the fastest and most powerful language for controlling the hardware right down to its finer details and ideal for applications which work in real time.

Multi Card 2006 is also designed to control additional connected machines making use of the same graphic interface. There is a wizard that help the operator set-up the parameters of the machine and of the printing job.
